As far as I am concerned, the color quality is excellent. It also has what is called Miravision color enhancement setting so you can adjust it to meet your own liking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Colors are more true than with over-saturation like with large resolution Samsung devices which augment the color. I have a Samsung Tab S 10 and I would challenge most people to distinguish between the two. Regarding reading it boils down to how much reading. If you read a full book or two a week I suggest an electronic ink reader such as a $60 Kindle.Its lightweight and designed for that job. If you don't mind the size this Lenovo has more control over the book/mag/reading setting than my two year old Apple iPad Air. That's due to having Kindle REader installed and Google books Android. Free...just go check it out next to an current Apple.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not noticee any tinting on my unit. I think the colors & resolutiion are awesome. I mostly use mine for reading ebooks. It fits the bill nicely.
