• Downgrading isn't possible or free.

• Yes you can! I did this to my system and downgraded to Windows 7. This will take some research though, because you have to enter the BIOS and change around some of the options in order to image the machine and install a different OS. If you decide to this, I would recommend buying another 2.5" hard drive to put into the laptop in case you ever need to send the laptop back to Lenovo, you will have the drive that they put in it.
