- Answer 'Memory' usually refers to internal RAM, but I'm guessing you are referring to portable SD chips used in most cameras.. YES it accept an SD card, but the SD port is shallow so you really don't want to leave a full sized SD card in the port when stowing it away in a case or backpack. However, you can buy a microSD card and one of those especially shallow microSD-to-SD card adapters. You insert the micro SD card in to the side of the adapter before sticking the adapter in the laptop. Being about half the depth of a normal adapter, it doesn't stickout beyond the body of the laptop and can remain there....

QuestionSecond bay for drive?Does this laptop have a second bay for a HDD? I want to just have the OS and some programs on the ssd and then the rest on a HDD (internal).

- Answer No second bay. all you need to do is buy an external USB 3.0 drive for storage. If you wanted something less bulky you could use a a fast SD card to expand the storage.

- Answer It is technically possible to run programs storage on usb drives, flash drives and SD Cards, but this usually take extra technical steps. Most novice consumers will use the portable storage devices for storage, backup and transfer of created content like pictures, documents, spreadsheets, videos, etc.

- Answer Mine came with Win 8, but as soon as I first turned it on, Microsoft prompted me for a FREE upgrade to Win 10. I believe that if you get any machine that comes with pre-installed Win 8, you can now update/download FOR FREE Win 10. My Win 10 has been working great for the last 2 months, there have been no problems with the upgrade.
