How long should battery life be? I just bought the Yoga 3 Pro and it only seems to have 3 hours of battery life. I thought it would have closer to 6. Any ideas on why mine is so short? Should I return it?

Mine lasts for 4-5 hrs with setting the battery option to power saving mode. Yes, but it still less than what is advertised by Lenovo.

disable Lenovo management of battery and see if it improves. upgrade to Win 10

Depends on bells and whistles. If you are use back lit keyboard, etc., figure about four good hours.

It all really depends on what you're doing with the laptop. How high you have the brightness, and if youre running games or have a movie playing, etc. Youre not going to find much better battery life in a similar package. If that is your only concern. Lenovo offers a line of thinkpads with a second battery that allows up to 20 hrs of runtime, but you will not have the 2-in-1 factor.

Do you have the charging mode on "conservation mode" or "normal mode"? Assuming it's charged up to 100% under "normal mode" for charging, I've found that on average use (some web browsing, microsoft office use), then it gives me a little over 5 hours. That said, the battery life on this laptop is not great. It shouldn't be as little as 3 hours though so yes, I would maybe return it.

Depend how carefully you are, if you connect your device on your power outlet charge the battery and disconnect to use him properly it's give you more the 4 hours and the battery can survive more the 2 Years
