- Answer The Intel M processor came out with the intended purpose of use in laptops. It is low power which, in theory, reduces heat production and gives longer battery life. Also, since there is no fan needed, thinner designs are possible. If an OS is designed to take advantage of it, the battery life is improved. If it isn't optimized, it doesn't help and is slow. The current 6th generation Intel i3, i5, i7 are newer, faster, low power consuming but need better cooling than an M (thicker laptops).

- Answer Yoga 3 pro only comes with one processor choice. Processors are not user changeable on any consumer laptop

- Answer It's a low power version of the Core series. It runs at a lower voltage and lower frequency, although it will increase its speed under load. My experience is that it makes the Yoga 3 Pro significantly slower than computers with a full Core i5.

- Answer I've purchased many open box computers from Best Buy. Some are really good deals, but others have had hidden problems, which was probably why they were returned.

- Answer This system is equipped with the OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small button on the right side of the device. You will need a pen or pencil to push the button. The OneKey Recovery System will allow you to boo the device if it will not start any other way. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for a short time, then push the OneKey Recovery Button with a pen or pencil. The system should boot to a screen that will let you choose to normal boot to desktop or restore the system to factory default. Try booting to desktop first to see if you can repair the issue. You may want to follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for driver updates for your specific system.
