• Yes. This laptop does have a back light on the keyboard, making it easy to see in the dark. Back light has 3 settings: off, medium, and high

• Yes, this system does have a backlit keyboard. You hold down the "Fn" key and hit the spacebar on this system to turn the backlight of the keyboard on/off.
