Q: Questiondoes this also come in a black version ?
Asked by raj.
- A:Answer It does not. When I was at the store I asked that very question. I was told NO but there was another version of the laptop in black. That one cost about $300 more. It was slightly larger but the screen was the same size. So it did not go edge to edge. I opted for the silver less expensive one because of the screen. I like how it goes all the way to the edge on silver version.

Q: QuestionHello! Why is the total storage only 238GB SSD though it's written 256GB SSD and was the windows 10 home meant to be not activated
Asked by Biraj.
- A:Answer The operating system and necessary executable files are taking up the space on the hard drive. You need to activate Windows 10 to personalize it and allow it to update to any new updates that have come out since manufacture. You can also pair the system to your WiFi network at this time.

Q: QuestionHow good is it for editing film
Asked by Liam.
- A:Answer No, I would not recommend it for film editing. If you choose the next upgrade with an I7 processor i would say yes, but his model and spec is not a graphics computer. Spend the extra $150 on the next higher version.

Q: QuestionIs the 14-inch model with the NVIDIA 940MX GPU still available? I've seen some reviews with those specs but this one only has the Intel HD graphics. It's been asked here before but the answer linked to a 15-inch model.
Asked by Megan.
- A:Answer No, this is the replacement for the older 14" model. It no longer has the Nvidia GPU, that is the 15.6" model at this time.

Q: QuestionWhat model is supposed to have the fan issue fixed? Why does it say mobile processor? That way if i walk into a best buy, i can look on the box to ensure im not being sold an old model in their back stock. Never knew a SSD drive had a fan.
Asked by Sdsurfer77.
- A:Answer Actually I just got this laptop - 14" Yoga 710 with new 7th Gen processor, and the fan is considerably loud and kept turning itself on even when I only had one Chrome tab open doing basic Google searches (CPU at less than 35C). I knew it was going to possibly have this issue due to reading dozens and dozens of reports on various forums about this specific model having this issue. I performed all the Windows updates and updates using Lenovo Companion and the fan still was whirring like crazy with a high pitched drone. I then tried the 'new' fix of downloading third party software as suggested on a few other forums and so far it has helped to a degree. Ideally I'd love a legitimate fix from Lenovo so I can remove this third party software. Apparently, Lenovo keeps denying that this laptop even has the fan issue so I am going to give them another phone call.
