So far, so good on multiple networks! I do know that occasionally it messes up if you shut the lid and go into sleep mode. Usually if that happens, I'll go into device manager, and disable, then enable the driver. This also happened on the Yoga 3, so my guess is that it's the Intel wireless driver. After the reset, it's OK. If you power your machine down, no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I LOVE the wifi connectivity on the Yoga 900. When I'm at the far end of the house where sometimes my 5 Ghz. network is spotty, the laptop connectivity is rock solid and gives me my full 125 Mbps. download speed from Comcast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any issues with the WiFi connecting and holding. So I think you'll be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's WiFi 2 x 2 802.11 a/c - I have it on an Asus RT-AC68U - I can take it anywhere in the house, in the yard, or even over at the neighbor's with barely a loss of 1 bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been using it for a week in a very hectic wireless environment, and haven't had any problems. I had a first generation Yoga that had poor performance, and this is nothing like that. The Yoga 900 WiFi card performs admirably; it seems like they put extra effort into good WiFi performance given the shortcomings of previous Yoga models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had no WIFI connectivity problems. No drop outs, etc. The wifi signal strength meter shows the same as my 2 other computers. I have not yet taken my YOGA 900 out of the house yet, so I have no info about its WIFI performance on a public network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far no problems at all. I have a pretty decent router in my house and i can use it on my porch. It does not seem to perform any better or any worse than any other device i have used. So i suppose it is pretty good. I get maybe a 50 foot range through walls in my home. Are you sure the issue is the computer and not your router? If so, this one is probably going to do just fine for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You sound like someone who had an HP Spectre x360 which had WiFi issues (correct drivers have fixed that problem). Right out of the box, the Yoga has given me zero dropped connections nor any other connection problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's done very well for me. I don't have any particularly great demands but it pops onto known wifis quick and easy
