I'd say no. Mine is only loud when doing something that requires a lot of processor power. Other than that, it's very quiet. Maybe check your processes to see if something is running when it shouldn't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's normal, my surface pro four has a loud fan, my surface book has a loud fan & my yoga 900 pro has a loud fan, just deal with it. Overall it's a fantastic computer for the price .

I have the I7, 16gigs of RAM, 512 gig hard drive and my fans run a lot as well. As far as I'm concerned it's normal

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the lenovo Yoga11s, fan kicks in when running too many chrome windows. Obviously if your work load is heavy, processor heats up, fan kicks in. If fan didnt kick in, your motherboard would burn. so it should be a good thing. fan works...
