- Answer Perhaps they are coming up with a newer model with an increased RAM and pushing more for their 1TB SSD.

QuestionCan I add more RAM to the Lenovo Yoga 910 that comes with only 8 ? I don't really want the 4K screen, because i am concerned about battery life. But I would like 16 GB of RAM.

- Answer Yes you can. If you open the back, the ram will be contained within a silver cap (rectangular piece). Be carful in removing it. It has some small clips holding it in place.

Question@Lenovo support; Why does this laptop come with a mobile processor, i.e., 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7500U mobile processor? Does it (mobile processor) give any advantage over the 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-7500U processor?

QuestionBought Yoga 80V50000US in Dec-16. Bought it before reading reviews. Touchpad issue. Super sensitive, move it and files open, close, move to unknown locations etc. so I returned it. That issue was listed.in reviews. Has that issue been fixed?

- Answer I have never experienced that behavior on my Yoga 910 (80VF) either under Windows or Linux. Although I could not find the "80V50000US" anywhere on my laptop (I have a similar number though).

- Answer Only you can really answer that question as it depends on how memory intensive the programs you use are as far as the RAM goes and what types of things do you like to store on your computer. If you plan on downloading lots of movies or storing videos, you'll probably want the 512 vs 256.

- Answer No. No SD card reader. You will need an adapter for that. The 4 I/O ports here are 2 USB type C, 1 USB type A (regular USB), and 1 headphone jack.

QuestionI bought a yoga 910 16G/512G version a few weeks ago. It had "auto rotation stop working" problem. Then I exchanged to another one, but it had the same issue. I had to return it. Do you guys fix the problem or just my bad luck?

- Answer The first thing I recommend that you do after starting it for the first time, is to go to the Lenovo site and update everything related to your laptop. I can almost guarantee that it will solve the majority of your issues

QuestionWill Lenovo issue a new model of this laptop later this year? I am hoping they will change the placement of the shift key and the port configuration.

- Answer Per a Lenovo expert, you can remap the shift key and the up arrow key using a free app called KeyTweak. I did just that. The download was free and the app is fairly easy to use. It took less than five minutes. Additionally, since the black key tops are simply snapped in place, you can carefully lift them off and snap them back on top of the keys that you remapped. No need to wait for later this year!!! :)

QuestionHi, I'm an arch student and have a laptop with a 4th Gen Core i7 processor with 3.4Ghz Turbo and 8GB RAM. I can run 3D modeling, Adobe, and AutoCad software with Google Chrome in the background with loaded tabs quite alright. Can this perform similarly?

QuestionCan a larger SSD drive be installed easily? Basically can I replace the 512 drive in the future?

- Answer If you do, you run the risk of voiding the warranty, unless you do it after warranty expires. Only do it if you or a friend really know hardware. I purchased the 512 because I also use 256 flash drives and also have a 1tb ssd portable drive and don't need to keep that much data on the laptop. I have multiple bu's and most of the bulk is photos (am semi-pro)

- Answer My Lenovo is for personal use and wouldn't be left alone or out of my sight, but that's a good question. I do not see where a security mount could be affixed anywhere on this laptop, so my answer would be no.
