That's not going to work. You are gonna need a adapter with usb 3.1 for your hdmi connection. Check Amazon
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, that's not true, I have been using the j5create multi-adapter successfully to connect to one monitor with HDMI. That's fine for when I'm on the road, but I'd like to have a two monitor setup at home.

USB-C to external display doesn't work with any adopter I tried. Everybody is having the same issue.
