Will the $699.00 version come with a 4k screen? null

While this model is $699 it is only 1080p. On the Lenovo site they are taking orders for the 4K version at the same price ($699) for delivery in 4 to 5 weeks. I have no idea how long that will last but if you are willing to wait for delivery, you might consider placing an order.

Even though it is "only" 1920 x 1080, it is a very nice resolution for the size of the screen. When set to native size, the fonts are very small but also very readable. I use another Chromebook that has a higher resolution on a smaller screen size and have to bump the size of the fonts up so I can read them which kind of defeats the purpose of the higher resolution for many things. Don't let the lower resolution fool you. It is crisp and bright and works very well for games, movies and web surfing.
