- Answer Along with 99.97% of airborne contaminants, this air purifier can help reduce airborne hair and dander from pets. Please note that it will not be able to capture pet hair that has already settled onto a surface. We hope this is helpful!

QuestionWhat is the yearly electrical cost assuming it's run on auto 24 hours a day? Also, is the plasma feature what gives off some ozone or will it do that even with that feature not turned on?

- Answer First, it’ll cost about $11 a month on high speed .11 cents kw/h. There’s so many variables into this though. The ionizer creates a small amount of charged particles that attach to other smaller particles like dust mites and such making the filter catch them. But turning it off does not. I usually leave mine on at the expense of filter life. However there’s a significant air difference when left on.

QuestionHow do I get a PDF of the manual? Even the manufacturer doesn't have it on the website. The red filter light is on, i changed filter, and the filter light will not clear. There is no filter light reset button on this model as there appear to be on others

- Answer Yes, you are more than welcome to place the unit in a basement. We recommend placing the purifier on a flat, stable surface with the display facing up. Please allow at least 15 inches / 38 cm of clearance on all sides and keep away from anything that would block airflow, such as curtains.

- Answer Yes! You can also vacuum the hair off the filter every so many weeks. I have cats and dogs and it’ll take a bad litter smell out using the ion feature.

- Answer No, radon gas is radioactive and can only be solved by exchanging air to keep things moving. HEPA filters are decent at capturing the decayed particles that end up in the air after the life of the gas expires.
