• You are more than welcome to use the unit without connecting to the WiFi as there are buttons on the display that can control the air purifier manually.

• No. Wifi is just so you can control if you are away from home or in another room. Also tells you updates if wifi is on. Otherwise without wifi you have to manually control it.
