QuestionIs the thermostat in the air conditioner or remote? If in the equipment, how accurately does it sense the room temperature? Will the unit come on and off automatically to keep the room temperature at a set temp?

- Answer The unit does turn on and off to keep the room at the set temperature, it is quite accurate (I have a room thermometer that is separate from the AC unit and it matches the set temp). I think the thermostat is on the unit somewhere, though I don't see that info in the manual.

QuestionWhat is the diameter of the exhaust hose? This is helpful to know in the case where the window adapter kit won't work with a buyer's window or if the buyer needs a 3rd party adapter kit for a sliding glass door.
