- Answer If the TV that you are inquiring about is the LG SK9000PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # 65UK9000PUA, you can use the LG 2.1 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar w/ DTS Virtual:X Sound, Model # SK5Y with it, but the Soundbar does not support Dolby Atmos® and since your TV supports Dolby Atmos®, the better soundbar that takes full advantage of the features on your TV would be the LG 5.1.2 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos®, Model # SK9Y or the LG 5.1.2 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar w/ Meridian Technology & Dolby Atmos®, Model # SK10Y. You could also go with the LG 2.1 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos®. Model # SK8Y, but the other two soundbars would be the better soundbars...^IFV

QuestionCan the sound bar attach to the bottom of the TV?

- Answer The LG 2.1 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar w/ DTS Virtual:X Sound, Model # SK5Y cannot be attached directly onto a TV, but it does come with supplied Wall Brackets and a Wall Bracket Install Guide that you can use to match the TV's bottom edge with so that the brackets are positioned under the TV to mount the Soundbar on the wall. When mounting the Soundbar on a wall (concrete) you will need to use wall plugs which are not supplied. Youcan purchase the Hilti (HUD-1 6 x 30) which will come with supplied wall plugs and screws for mounting the brackets on the wall...^IFV

QuestionI have a LG LAS454B bar that still sounds great. Has anyone had it and this one and can give me a comparison of the sound quality and features of both? 454B can't connect to a surround system, so I'm thinking of getting this one and the extra speakers.

QuestionI have SK5Y and Spk8-S, wonder DTS VX sounds so bad WITH THE Rear speakers. SK5Y alone sounds far way better in DTS VX mode, but once connected to rear speakers (SPK8-S) then the directions of the sounds all mixed up. Is it only me feeling this way?

- Answer I have the same combination and it sounds great. The only thing I would suggest would be to double check that the clear wire and the black stripe wire are hooked up at the correct terminals at the receiver and each speaker. Also, both sets of wires should be wrapped around the ferrite block twice, close to the receiver.
