Over The Range Smart Microwave with Sensor Cooking and EasyClean® - Stainless Steel, Model # MVEL2125X, can be vented in one of three ways: Roof-venting, Wall-venting, or Room-venting (i.e., Recirculating mode). If you choose the rear exhaust method (roof venting or wall venting), be sure there is enough clearance within the wall for the exhaust duct. You will need to rotate and reinstall the blower unit so that the exhaust ports face the rear of the cabinet and are aligned with the rear knockouts, which are located near the top at the back of the microwave oven...^Ivan.

Over The Range Smart Microwave with Sensor Cooking and EasyClean® - Printproof™ Stainless Steel, Model # MVEL2125X does not have a backlit keypad. While some brands may offer models with a backlit keypad, it is still relatively rare in the market. Some higher-end models may incorporate this feature, but most models often do not. We are not privy to the decisions for not incorporating a a backlit keyboard but some reasons may be because a backlit keypad requires more energy to operate or that it increases the manufacturing cost...^Ivan.

It is shipped with the blower assembled for roof venting. You need to adjust the blower if you want wall-venting or room-venting installation. As with most, if not all other over-the-range microwave ovens, it vents from the upper front lip of the unit in recirculating mode...^Ivan.
