- Answer You can select Low Temp for the drying on the LG - 2.3 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Compact Washer and 7-Cycle Electric Dryer Combo, Model # WM3488 by pressing the DRY button. If you are using the Automatic Dry settings, the electronic sensors measure the temperature of the exhaust to increase or decrease the drying temperature for faster reaction time and tighter temperature control. If the Low Temp. setting is too hot, you may need to have the machine inspected and it may require a service repair...^IFV

QuestionI plan to use this unit in my 42 foot camper. After securing it to the floor, would it be alright to operate this unit while in motion driving on the highway? I have a 3 KW inverter feed from my truck, or if need the camper has its own 3.5 KW generator.

- Answer We cannot advise on using the washer dryer combination unit in a RV. This unit is designed for residential purposed. Install the washing machine on a solid floor that is strong and rigid enough to support the weight of the washing machine, even when fully loaded, without flexing or bouncing. If the floor has too much flex, you may need to reinforce it to make it more rigid. If the floor is not solid, it may cause severe vibration and noise. ^CP

QuestionIn previous answer someone said washer and dryer fit a 30” space minimum in depth. Does this include the space left in back of the washer and dryer? They will be in a space that has total depth of 31 1/2 to 32 inches. Thank you.

The recommended installation clearance for the rear is 4" to allow for the water lines, the drain and airflow around the unit. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances...^IFV

QuestionIs there a specific hose, connection or adapter I can purchase to be able to connect to my kitchen faucet? Also, would it only be 1 for both fill & drain? Or would it be 2 different hose?

- Answer The LG 2.3 cu.ft. Compact All-In-One Washer/Dryer, Model # WM3488HW has a hot and cold water inlet valve so it will require one feed for the hot water and one for the cold. Both water inlet hoses have an an inner diameter of 3/4" and they are both female connectors at either end of the hoses. You need to determine whether your kitchen faucet is male or female and what the outer diameter is if its male or what inner diameter it is if it's female to determine which adapter will work for you....^IFV

- Answer The recommended clearance spacing for the sides of the LG 2.3 cu. ft. High Efficiency All-in-one Front Load Washer & Dryer in Stainless Steel, Model # WM3488HS is 1 inch. The reason for the spacing requirement is to ensure that the unit has a natural airflow around it. Keep in mind that this unit is a ventless dryer as well as being a washer and if confined in too narrow a space, that is humid may produce mildew or musty smells and it also prevents transference of noise to the walls. The unit's cabinet has a width of 24" so it will fit into a 25" opening. You do not have to worry about duct venting since the machine is ventless and doesn't require any ductwork, however, you do need to ensure enough space in the rear for waterline clearances and 4 inches should suffice but you can adjust that if you find your water lines do not require that much clearance. ^CP

- Answer You do not need any special hook up. It is a 110 v plug you plug it in hook the drain part over the sink and done . Very easy to set up.

- Answer The LG - 2.3 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Compact Washer and 7-Cycle Dryer Combo with Steam, Model # WM3488HW is a ventless dryer so it does not need a filter. Any lint from the wash is expelled along with the drain water and the unit has a drain pump filter that catches any foreign objects that don't go through the filter. It is recommended that you check that filter periodically to ensure that it is not clogged.
