QuestionIs this unit ventless? Can this unit be installed in a closet to the directly to the hot and cold water pipes?I am looking into purchasing this unit as I own a condo.

- Answer Yes, it only requires water hookup, drain and regular 110 electrical hookup. I have mine in a condo, great for saving space

QuestionCan this be moved so I an hook it up to my kitchen sink? Can you put wheels on it ?I live in a flat and would like to get more room in my kitchen.. Right now I have a washer, dryer where it Is able to be moved ( the washer slides out so I can hook t up to my kitchen sink. I was thinking of something like this to make little more room in my kitchen.

- Answer I don't think so. It would have a tendency to walk all over the floor, possible pulling away from the faucets, AND BOY WHAT A MESS THAT WOULD BE! Mine fits into a lower cabinet and then the top of that cabinet has pull out shelves for food, etc. Maybe you could have hot & cold water and a drain pipe installed so it could sit in one place and then add shelves above ??? I hope this helps, I love my combo. When I'm not using it I have doors that pull out from the sides and shut over the front so I don't even see the unit.

- Answer This is a question for LG, We bought ours from Best Buy, but they didn't have one on the floor to look at. I had read about it in 2004 in a Consumer Reports and liked what they had to say. You should be able to get a phone number from the LG website.

- Answer Large, but it starts out weighing your load and that determines the time to complete both cycles using condensed drying. If you wash a large load just pause it remove some and dry smaller loads it will take less time

- Answer I had to call LG to send me some but they are 1" really thin pads I don't think they make a difference, I used them since I had them but the installer said they weren't necessary

QuestionHow much time does the washer cycle(s) take?

- Answer From beginning of wash to end of dry cycle it can vary from 2 1/2 hours to 5 hours. It just depends on the weight of the load of the clothes. The unit (new one just purchased) will revolve a few times before wash cycle starts and I assume it is "getting a feel" for the weight. My old one (from 2004, according to the manual, was not supposed to weigh more then 8 pounds (had to use the old baby scales. This one says not to have the drum completely filled. (It also will continue to tumble the clothes so they don't get wrinkles if you don't take the clothes out when the dry cycle is finished.
