“Those of you who have purchased in the last year, would you say this refrigerator is QUIET!!! I mean "standing beside it all day long and not noticing the compressor cycle on" kind of quiet? That is what I am looking for. Thank you!”

Not that quiet. You'll occasionally hear the compressor spin up and I can hear it across the room. It's not super loud but loud enough for you to tell if the room is quiet enough.
