The width of the refrigerator is 29.75" and the space available is 31" wide. For the door to open 90∘ (which is necessary to access all bins and shelves), the unit requires a total width of 33.25" without the handle, or 38.25" with the handle, for the door to open freely against a wall. Since your available space is 31", the door will not be able to open fully if the wall is on the side where the door opens.   • QuestionCan you order the refrigerator without the ice maker?

    • Answer I doubt it. The refrigerator comes from the factory with an icemaker built in. Make sure to switch off the ice maker if not used. Mine arrived with the icemaker switch on from the factory.
