- Answer The delivery guys removed the front handles on the fridge and freezer for it to fit through our doorways. They installed the handles back afterwards.

QuestionI purchased this unit in Nov2019 and it has been working well. Lately, we noitced a lot of icy accumulatiing in the freezer unit, especially inside the back panel. Ice build up and the drawers do not open as smoothly because the ice buildup.

- Answer "Manual Defrost" is as the name suggests, that the defrost for a refrigerator has to be activated manually. However, that is incorrect for this LG 22.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless steel, Model # LFXC22526S. Both the refrigerator and freezer compartments for the refrigerator defrost automatically as with other LG French Door models...^IFV

- Answer Hi KatieR1976. The water line that is recommended in the owner's manual for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 22.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless Steel, Model # LFXC22526S is Copper or PEX Tubing, with a ¼ in. outer diameter. It is also recommended that to determine how much tubing you need, to measure the distance from the water valve on the back of the refrigerator to the water supply pipe. Then, add 8 feet (2.4 m) and to make sure there is sufficient extra tubing (about 8 feet [2.4 m] coiled into 3 turns of about 10 in. [25 cm] diameter) to allow the refrigerator to move out from the wall after installation. The water line you provided the link to is only 6 feet in length and that will be too short. Since the waterline and its installation are not covered by the refrigerator's warranty, you are at liberty to use the waterline of your preference, but we can only advise you on what is recommended in the owner's manual...^IFV

QuestionAnyone else with actual fridge temp issues? Fridge set at 37; actual is usually 40+. LG told me it's ok and to set it to 33. Actual is then 36+. How much variation from the set temp is normal? Are units with metal panel in back of shelves better?

- Answer A. The normal variation is about 3 degrees. The metal plate, usually found on the back of the fridge transfers the air temperature in your kitchen into the vapor which causes it to turn into a liquid. This liquid cools down as it flows through the inside of the fridge system while also absorbing the heat, thus, cooling down the air inside the fridge. ~Tanisha
