Tilted all the way back it is 4 inches from the desk surface to the bottom edge of the monitor's bezel and tilted all the way forward the same measurement is 3.25 inches.
A:AnswerYes, however some computers may try to send audio over HDMI even though this monitor does not support audio itself. If your computer switches the audio output to this monitor when you connect it you simply need to switch the audio output back to built in speakers in settings on your computer to get it working again.
