QuestionJust concerned it has an manual defrost rather than an automatic. For that price would think it would have an automatic. The one 400.00 more has automatic defrost, but not as many people gave it a good review, wondered why and if its an issue.

- Answer This does not have a manual defrost. It's fully automatic just like all modern, full-size refrigerators. Why would you think it's manual?

- Answer A new ref took 3 days to fully make the ice. After that, it can fill the bucket overnight . If you knew about an upcoming party, try to fill the other bucket that comes with it.

QuestionI have a Kenmore Elite (in reality its an LG).I have had it one month short of 5 years. Over the weekend it quit cooling. Repair man came out today & said the compressor is out & they're compressors are horrible.Have they changed in 5 years?
