I had mine replaced while under warranty. Same problem you are describing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is recommended that you turn the Ice Maker off in the LG - 24.7 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water in the Stainless/Stainless look, Model # LFX25974ST if you will not be using the Ice Maker for several days. Infrequent use of the dispenser will cause the ice cubes to stick together which is what may have happened if the ice maker was left on while you were on vacation. You may have clumping of the ice cubes which is preventing the refrigerator from dispensing the ice cubes. You can use a rubber spatula to break up the ice so that it dispenses properly. You will also want to check the chute to ensure that it is not blocked. This can also get blocked if you only dispense crushed ice for an extended period of time. Remove the ice bin and use the rubber spatula to clear the ice passage way of frost or ice. To prevent this from happening, you should dispense a glass of cubed ice a day...^IFV
