Yes, the headphone port is able to be used when connected via VGA or HDMI. ^CP

I PURCHASED THIS MONITOR BASED ON THAT ANSWER FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
ONLY PROBLEM: IT IS INCORRECT.
THE HEADPHONE JACK DOES NOT WORK IF THE MONITOR IS CONNECTED USING THE VGA INPUT.
IT ONLY WORKS WITH THE HDMI INPUT
A:AnswerNot quite sure if this is what you are meaning.... but I had to change the display size settings on my laptop to make it fit the screen correctly.
