They will reverse the doors for you as a courtesy. Be sure to alert them that you would like to have the doors revresed so the delivery team has the correct tools...^IFV

- Answer Hi Personwithafridge. That is more about physics than it is about there being something wrong with the doors and it can happen with any refrigerator. When the door for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 26 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LRDCS2603S is opened, the cold air inside the refrigerator is replaced by warmer air in your kitchen that is at room temperature. When you close the door, the compressor kicks on to cool the refrigerator back down to the set temperature so the pressure inside the refrigerator decreases by about 10% causing a vacuum which makes the door hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. Once an equilibrium is reached and the air inside equalizes, the door will open as normal. If your doors are always hard to open: Try rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly along the edges of the entire gasket. Paraffin wax is used for canning and is safe for use around food...^IFV

QuestionThe ice maker makes ice faster that I can use can I turn the icemaker off when the bucket is full without damaging the motor, or will the ice maker automatically turn off when the bucket is full. Is there a sensor that does that.

- Answer The Automatic Ice Maker in the Energy Star® Qualified LG 26 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker - PrintProof Stainless Steel, Model # LRDCS2603S has an Auto Shutoff (Feeler Arm) that will stop ice production when the ice bin is completely filled. The Ice Maker also has a Power Switch on it that you can use to turn the ice maker off. The ice bin should be emptied any time the ice maker power button is turned to the OFF mode. Ice cubes which are stored in the ice bin for a long time may clump together and be difficult to separate. If this happens, empty the ice bin completely and clean it before reinstalling it...^IFV

QuestionMy space is exactly 33 inches wide. Will this fit?

- Answer No. The refrigerator is 33” and it is recommended to have a minimum of 2” of wall space on all three sides for proper air flow and you need at least 2” on one side just for the door to open fully.

QuestionThe opening into my kitchen is only 30" wide. Since the unit is 33" wide, it obviously won't fit. But . . . if I remove the door, it might fit. Can you tell me how deep the unit is with the door removed?
