I was mad at first cause of how little ice there was in the door but we have another fridge in the basement so so I figured we could use that ice when we have company. Then I realized there was another ice maker on the bottom. The cubes are bigger than the door and it makes the ice so fast and there is a huge bin ready every morning no matter how much we use the night before. Best fridge I have owned!!

We are not sure what you would consider as ice cubes being on the small side and regrettably, we do not have a measurement for the ice cubes that are produced in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 27,5 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled InstaView™ Door-in-Door® refrigerator, Model # LFXS28596S. The Automatic In-Door icemaker will produce 70-182 cubes in a 24-hour period depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings and other operating conditions. Your water pressure must be between 20-120 psi (138-827 kPa) for the it to produce the propeer size and amount of ice. The icemaker stops producing ice when the indoor ice bin is full. To make room for additional ice, empty the ice bin into the extra ice bin in the freezer compartment. During use, the ice may stack unevenly in the bin, causing the icemaker to misread the number of ice cubes and stop producing ice. Shaking the ice bin to level the ice within it can reduce this problem. The automatic freezer icemaker produces 12 cubes at a time, 50-110 pieces within a 24 hour period if conditions are favorable. This amount may vary according to the environment (ambient temperature around the appliance, frequency of the door being opened, amount of food stored in the appliance, etc.)...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There’s a second ice maker in the freezer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ice cubes made in the door, and dispensed through the door, are fairly small. The ice cubes made in the freezer, and you scoop them from the bin in the freezer - are larger. I'd call them medium size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ice cube maybe slightly smaller tha some other models but not so small that it would make a difference. Also, this model already has a second ice maker in the lower freezer section.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We use a lot of ice and have not yet run into a no available ice problem.
