That depends on your use. If you are editing photos or doing graphic design then yes, this is a better monitor than the Samsung UE590. IPS panels tend to be much better at color accuracy and this one in particular definitely is. I do a lot of print work, so my color accuracy is incredibly important and this monitor delivered for me right out of the box with no additional calibration. For photos and graphic work, you could probably do well enough with the Samsung if you have good external hardware to professionally calibrate it. That all being said, if you are looking for just general use &/or gaming, the Samsung UE590 is probably sufficient. Although I will say that this monitor does handle games extremely well you might not need to spend the extra. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES. I originally bought the 28" Samsung 4k model, and this LG looks better and has a much better stand that tilts and rotates. The Samsung stand was really terrible and users complained about the placement of its VESA mounts also should you want to use a different mount. I am 100% satisfied with this LG!
