- Answer There is no LG Mounting Bracket available that will mount the LG 3.1-Channel 420W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and DTS Virtual:X - Black, Model # SN6Y directly on the LG UHD 85 Series 86 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (85.6'' Diag), Model # 86UN8570PUC or on any of our TVs, but a Wall Mount Bracket is an included accessory with the Soundbar that will let you mount the Soundbar on the wall under the TV. You can inquire at Best Buy is they have any such brackets. They do have Wall Mount Shelves that can be mounted under the TV that the Soundbar can sit on, but they may not have any that mount the Soundbar directly on the TV...^IFV

- Answer The LG SN6Y 3.1 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X cannot be used as a stand alone unit, it has to be connected to another device or paired via Bluetooth with another device so you can stream audio from that device to the Soundbar. The other device does not have to be a TV. It can be another device that supports Bluetooth to send audio wirelessly via Bluetooth or a device that has an HDMI Output or Optical Digital Audio Output. You do not need a Soundbar to use a TV's internal speakers...^IFV

QuestionHow is the volume on this LG? My Polk Signa S2 is not loud enough if there is a lot of noise inside (washer, dishwasher) or outside (mower, kids). My old Polk soundbar has great volume.

- Answer Hi de2. The perception of how loud or how quiet something is is very subjective.There are several factors that may influence how loud the LG SN6Y 3.1 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X is such as the size of your room, how far from the system you will be sitting, how loud those ambient sounds that you mentioned like a mower, kids or how far your dishwasher or washer are from the Soundbar and how loud they are. As you are aware from your own experiences, the perception of loudness diminshes with increasing distance. The loudness can also be affected by how much furniture you have in the room, whether it is carpeted or not and whether you have drapes that absorb the sound and what type of walls you have...^IFV

QuestionIs it possible to keep strangers from connecting to the soundbar when you are using it? I have it connected with my LG TV using Sound Sync and my neighbors can connect their devices to my soundbar.

- Answer Hi Pax. Pairing on the LG SN6Y 3.1 Channel High Res Audio Sound Bar with DTS Virtual:X is limited to one Bluetooth device per unit and multi-pairing is not supported, so if you have a device already connected to the Soundbar, other Bluetooth devices should not be able to be paired to it. The Bluetooth connection will be disconnected when the unit is turned off or the Bluetooth device gets too far from the unit. However, you can limit Bluetooth connection to only BT (Bluetooth) and LG TV function to prevent unintended Bluetooth connection by using the Bluetooth connection lock (BT LOCK). You will find the instructions for this on page 36 of your owner's manual for the Soundbar...^IFV
