This unit has regular Self-Cleaning (Upper and Lower Ovens). The SELF CLEAN cycle uses above normal cooking temperatures to clean the oven cavity. You may see some smoke and smell an odor the first few times the oven is cleaned. This is normal and will lessen in time. Smoke may also occur if the oven is heavily soiled. During self clean, the kitchen should be well ventilated to minimize the odors from cleaning. The upper and lower oven SELF CLEAN cannot be operated simultaneously.
