QuestionIs this a single 120v Plug for both Washer AND Dryer, or are two plugs required? If two, can it be the same outlet or is a separate run required for each?

- Answer WKG101HVA has a cord for the washer which has to be plugged into a standard 120V, 60Hz outlet and a cord for the dryer that has to be plugged into a 240V, 60Hz outlet. The dryer should be connected to a 4-hole outlet. The unit will need two outlets. One for the washer and the correct outlet for the dryer. ^Daphane

QuestionI understand you can vent from the left side but can you use a space saver on the left side to vent instead of the regular venting tube kit? If not, is the dryer compatible with a space saver to replace the regular venting tube in the back?

- Answer I am not sure what you mean by space saver. Use only 4 '' (10 cm) rigid, semi-rigid or flexible metal ductwork inside the dryer cabinet and for venting outside. Rigid, semi-rigid or flexible metal ducting is recommended for use between the dryer and the wall. All non-rigid metal transition duct must be UL-listed. Use of other materials for transition duct could affect drying time. QuestionIt is my understanding that if you don't leave the doors open all the time it will smell strongly of musty odors. Is that the case?

- Answer I find that a musty odor occurs with all washers, but what I do is I leave the washer door open through the dry cycle and find it is ok at that point to close the washer door.

QuestionWhat does the steam feature do?

- Answer The LG stacked duo WKG101H_A dryer does not have the more modern water assist anti-wrinkle feature which requires a separate water supply line to the dryer to create the steam to remove wrinkles. However it does have a 3-hour post dry intermittent tumbling feature to mitigate some wrinkling which will occur if hot-dried closed are left in a heap. The The ALLERGIENE™ cycle uses the intense heat of steam to remove over 95% of common household allergens, like dust mites and pet dander only in the washer only provides an extra high temperature wash which is hygienic but does nothing with regard to wrinkles.
