- Answer Local Home Depot had a 'low profile' pan that fit perfectly. Don't remember exact size, but it was larger than the standard model. Better quality than standard too!

QuestionCan you add more water to the lg wm3700hwa manually? There is not much water in the tub once the washing portion starts. How can the clothes get clean with this small amount of water. Is there a way to over ride the water amount preset and add more?

- Answer Use this option to add extra water to the wash and rinse cycles for better wash and rinse performance(Stain Treatment) with large or bulky items. Please note if the washer has reached maximum fill level this button will have not affect. ^Daphane

QuestionMy LG Washer Model 3700 was just installed and set on a normal wash. There is an image of a red key with diagonal line through it under sensing in the control panel. I don't see any information on this in the Owner's Manual. What does this indicate? .

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Front-Loading Smart Wi-Fi Washer with Steam and 6Motion Technology - White, Model # WM3700HWA uses a Load Sensing system to determine how much water to use for the wash. When a cycle is selected, the default time for that cycle is displayed. This time will change as modifiers or options are selected. Once the Start/Pause button is pressed, the washer will measure the size of the load to determine how much water to use for the load. The washer rotates the laundry in a way that allows it to use less water while still fully saturating your clothing. It is normal to not be able to see water during the wash cycle. The Estimated Annual Water Use of the washer based on an annual usage of 295 loads per year, or around 6 loads per week, as referenced by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) test procedure is 3,841 gallons/year. You actual water consumption will vary depending on the amount of laundry done. The washer has a total weighted pre-cycle consumption of 13.05 gallons...^IFV

- Answer Hi Luce. The feature that you are describing is not a feature that can be found on our washing machines. It is a feature that can be found on our dryers and is called the "Wrinkle Care" and can be found on the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700W which is the matching dryer for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Front-Loading Smart Wi-Fi Washer with Steam and 6Motion Technology - Graphite Steel, Model # WM3700HVA. Selecting the option the dryer will tumble the load periodically for up to 3 hours after the selected cycle, or until the door is opened. This is helpful in preventing wrinkles when you are unable to remove items from the dryer immediately...^IFV

- Answer Hi Mlonne. Regrettably, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Front Load Washer, Model # WM3700HWA does not feature a Magnetic Door Plunger that holds the door open when the washer is not running, and allows the door and tub seal to dry which prevents mold and mildew from building up. It is recommended that you wipe the door and the inside of the door seal to remove any moisture after each wash and leave the door open to allow the drum o air dry. Over time, residue may build up in the drum, leading to mildew or a musty odor. Run the Tub Clean cycle monthly to remove residue and prevent odor. Run the cycle more often under heavy use conditions or if odor is already present...^IFV

- Answer Since I use detergent pods I run a regular cycle along with an extra rinse cycle. My normal wash time is approximately an hour and a half.

QuestionDoes this machine have any capability for a warm water rinse? If not, on "rinse and spin" is it possible to choose the water temperature--using the cycle modifier--or by any other means? I assume by default it is a cold water rinse.

- Answer All rinses use tap cold water. Cold rinses use less energy. The actual cold rinse temperature depends on the temperature of the cold water at the faucet. The rinse temperature cannot be adjusted. ^CP
