Q: QuestionIs there a mechanism to keep the door from fully shutting without leaving it wide open? My current LG washer has odor if we shut the door completely and it is inconvenient to leave it fully open.

• A:Answer There is no special "mechanism" to keep it from fully shutting, but it does not automatically close. You can leave it cracked open (or wide open) if you'd like. I have no problem with keeping it slightly ajar between uses.

• A:Answer The matching pedestal for washer WM3600HVA is WDP4V. WDP3V can be used with the washer also. WDP4* replaced the WDP3* pedestal but they are both designed for compatibility with 27" LG Front Load Washers and Dryers. The only difference between them will be the mounting bracket installation. The WDP4* uses the t-clip installation method. ^Daphane
