• The 43UM7300PUA does not have a built in antenna. If you wish to receive the local channels, you will need an antenna or a cable/ satellite receiver. ^CP

• I have dish I don't think u can use it without cable or an antenna to watch local channels. Most televisions are made this way. Plus I can use wifi to go to Amazon I'm a prime member unlimited movies and I watch Netflix as well and use Alexa.
