Depending on which digital terrestrial television system the country you're in has adopted, the systems in Africa countries will not be the same. Some have adopted the British system, others, the French system and others the Japanese system, and the systems are not compatible. The digital terrestrial system used in the U.S. is the ATSC system. The LG 43 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM7300PUA is designed for use in the U.S. so it has three built-in tuners that are compatible with the television broadcast systems used in the U.S. (ATSC, NTSC and QAM). An ATSC tuner is one of the built-in tuners in the TV that allows for the reception of Over-the-Air broadcasts with an antenna. IT is not compatible with the systems used in other countries outside the U.S. that use a different system and it is not compatible with the systems used in Africa...^IFV
