If I had some specifications for it would help, but I assuming that Charter Communications is a service that provided you the router so you would be better of cIFVontacting them to ask them if their routers are adequate enough for TV use! The 49" Class (48-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV , Model # 49UB8500 will work with most routers but if you intend to stream movies, videos etc., then you may want to look into getting a dual band router and the speed will need to probably be around 15Mbps for stutter free HD Video, but your service provider can let you know what they have to offer!...
