The panels on the LG - 49" Class (48-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV, Model # 49UB8500 are made with a type of plastic substrate than can be easily damaged by abrasive chemicals, scrubbers, and towels, although there are some LED's that also use glass...IFV
