QuestionDURING THE END OF THE FINAL CYCLE AND THE WATER STARTS DRAINING, THE DRAIN PUMP IS EXTREMELY NOISY, IS THAT THE NORMAL SOUND OF THE DRAIN PUMP? I SEE SOME TYPE OF STYROFOAM WRAPPED AROUND THE DRUM FROM UNDERNEATH THE MACHINE. IS THAT SUPPOSE TO BE THERE?

- Answer No, the dimensions stated are the net dimensions of the unit. They recommend that you add six inches to allow room for waste line and water hoses, but I found that four inches is enough.

QuestionI wash all clothes in cold water. My clothes are always hot when I'm taking them out for drying. I have checked to make sure the steam cycle is not on and it isn't., this heat has shrunk several items. Can you explain the reason.

QuestionShould there be a styrofoam ring left on the bottom of the washer??the delivery guys lifted the washer off of the styrofoam base before bringing the washer in the house. after they left, i felt under the washer just to make sure there was no leaking and i felt a circular strip of what appears to be styrofoam surrounding something! Is that supposed to be there?

- Answer I wash mine in there and it gets it clean! Just takes a couple rounds in the dryer...even after that I sometimes have to let it air dry the rest of the way.

- Answer I don't know how loud in decibels specifically, but it's not terribly loud. The filling and draining portion of the cycle has the most noise, but both are fast. My desk sits just outside of the laundry room and with the door closed, it's not at all bothersome, and I'm very sensitive to noise.
