A:AnswerYou can add more water by using the secondary function buttons on the right side of the control panel by holding the water plus button for 3 seconds but it has a max level that still looks shallow compared to none high efficiency washers. You can also use the deep wash cycle to get more water but this low water level is norma for these washers. They save water and still clean your cloths.
A:AnswerI have an LG 7150 and it's drain filter is under the impeller drive. To my knowledge all recent top loaders drain filters are in the same place. YOU remove the center cover on the impeller drive with a flathead screwdriver pushing against 3 retainers in this cover to remove this cover, look closely the retainers are in 3 slots but use lots of caution as this cover is made of plastic and the retainers will break if finesse is not used. After the center cap is removed there is a 10mm bolt that is best removed with a 10 mm socket and ratchet. After removing this bolt you will find a rubber seal and washer on the bolt. Note that the washer has corresponding grooves to match how it gos back into the washer. Clean thjs bolt washer and threads with an old toothbrush if you have one.Try not to use metal to avoid damaging the rubber seal . Also you will see some locktite on the threads and it should be replaced with fresh loctite that you can get from walmart or home depot to put back on the bolt threads on reinstallation. It should be red or blue loctite. Whichever color is on the bolt treads, buy that color and apply to bolt treafs on the reinstallation to prevent bolt loosining. Too it may be advisable to let the loctite cure for 24 hours before next wash. Now you can remove the impeller and clean the underside of the impeller itself and the now exposed drain seal and seal area. An old toothbrush may be enough along with some cleanser and paper towels my be enough for clean-up depending on how much buildup you have. Put everything back in reverse order and you are done.
A:AnswerI wanted to correct my earlier answer. To disable the chime you press and hold the cold wash/signal button for 3 seconds. you will hear a beep and the chime will be turned off. Repeat this to tun it back on.The washer must be on to do this.
A:AnswerTo a limited degree. You pretty much have to choose an established cycle, but you can modify temperature settings, soil level, and spin speed. You can also add extra rinse or rinse only, spin only. We've only had the machine for close to two months, but in that time I've been pleased.
