QuestionIf my tv is not Dolby Atmos compatible am I able to still just use two high speed hdmi cables to connect my PS4 to the soundbar to get Dolby Atmos to play on a movie that has Dolby Atmos?? Or does that only work with an Xbox one?

- Answer HI Gabe7. If your TV does not have a built-in Dolby Atmos Decoder or does not have Dolby Atmos Pass Through, then it will not pass Dolby Atmos signal through to the LG 5.1.2 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Model # SJ9. If your TV has Dolby Atmos Pass Through, then anytime you play a video source that has Dolby Atmos, it will pass through to the SJ9 which can decode the signal...^IFV

- Answer The B7 will provide Atmos on a couple of Netflix movies and several VUDU UHD movies.

QuestionXbox one x, lg oled b6, lg js9.. What hdmi cables go where? Currently i have. Xbox hdmi outport to tv Soundbar output to tv output (arc) Still getting downscaling issues? Am i not doing the 4k passthrough correctly?

QuestionCan both HDMI PORTS (ARC & IN) support 4k@60hz? I want to connect both a Roku Ultra and 4k blu ray player via an hdmi switch to the hdmi in port for dolby atmos sound. And video for both via ARC port to my OLED65B6.

QuestionI have an LG SJ9 connected to my LG OLED B7 via HDMI ARC. Even using the AV Sync Adjustment feature, I cant seem to get the sound in sync with the picture. I would appreciate any suggestions.

- Answer The SJ9 has 1-HDMI input and if your blu Ray player is Dolby Atmos compatible then it will work.

QuestionHi , currently I m using LG 49SJ800T. It has Dolby vision but does not support Dolby Atmos . So far I had connect all wires correctly ,but my SJ9 did not have “Dhoby Atmos” display on it . Till now my display only stated “ OPT/ HDMI IN ARC”any advice?

- Answer Yes. Some LG OLEDtvs don’t do Dolby Sound. It’s the DVD PLAYER ACTING As an amplifier, connected from a special OUT port on the tv via HDMI cable that sends the Dolby signal to the Dolby sound bar.

- Answer Mack, The only mounting points I see is on the bottom of the bar. two threaded mounting holes to mount to a wall mount. If I where going to mount this to an existing tv wall mount I would sandwich 2 flat steel extension mounting bars between the two bottom tv wall mounting points and let them hang down under the tv far enough to allow the mounting of the sound bar. This would be so simple to do and the flat steel mounting bar is sold at home depot and you can cut it to length. Hope this helped John

QuestionI am getting conflicting information on whether the SJ9 will support wireless rear speakers delivering true 5.1.2 channel sound. If streaming an HD movie with 5.1.2 sound, can you deliver the proper rear channel sound to rear wireless speakers?

QuestionLG product literature says "LG Sound Sync technology links compatible LG televisions to the sound bar wirelessly, using Bluetooth." So if i have compatible LG Atmos enabled TV, do i still need to connect to soundbar with HDMI cable to play Atmos content?

QuestionI have this soundbar with the LG C7. It sounds great, but if I connect using HDMI ARC there is a sound delay for both my blu ray player and cable box. The TV A/V sync settings do not help either. Does anyone have a fix for this?

- Answer Had similar issues and finally gave up and taking it back. Make sure to use Optic cable is what Best Buy told me to do. Make sure to check out LG for how to plus and minus the correction.

- Answer Roughly H=13" x D=11"x W=11" I had to move mine from the corner to center to get better sound. If you're looking for deep loud bass this probably isn't the system for you.
