  • QuestionCan this sound bar be connected to two rear WIRED speakers? I'd like to keep the current ceiling flush mounted speakers. If so, what impedance is needed? If not, what alternative system do you suggest?

    Asked by GM.

    • Answer Hi there! Thank you for your question about the LG S60TR Sound Bar. This sound bar cannot directly connect to wired rear speakers, as it is designed for use with its own wireless rear speakers included in the package. It does not have terminals for connecting external wired speakers. For systems that support wired rear speakers, you might consider traditional AV receiver setups. An AV receiver can connect to your existing ceiling flush-mounted speakers and provide surround sound capabilities. Look for a model that matches your speakers' impedance and power requirements (commonly 4, 6, or 8 ohms). If you'd like to stick with LG and wireless solutions, you might explore sound bars like the LG SP11RA, which also includes wireless rear speakers while offering robust Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support. https://www.lg.com/us/sound-bars/lg-s60tr-sound-bar#pdp_specs For more assistance or recommendations, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport.
