    • Answer This is a high-efficiency washer, and the water levels may be much lower than you expect. This is normal, and cleaning/rinsing performance will not be compromised. The washer automatically adjusts the water level for the type and size of wash load for best results and maximum efficiency. ^Daphane

    • Answer The of the drain hose is not specified. The typical length of the hose is approximately 70". Do not install the drain hose with the end lower than 29.5 inches (75 cm) or higher than 96 inches (244 cm) above the bottom of the washer or more than 60 inches (152 cm) away from the washer. ^Daphane

  • QuestionWhere can I find the serial number on this model? It is not on the back of washer. We don't see a silver tag anywhere. Also, does this model have a drain pan or does it need one? Not sure what to do with the black plastic clips it came with.

    • Answer The serial number for LG washing machines is located in the owner's manual and is also found on the machine near the detergent dispenser or the back of the control panel. If it is on the back, it can be found on the left side when viewed from the front. This model does not have a drain pan. LG strongly recommends not using a drain pan when installing this appliance, as standing water in the drain pan may increase the risk of electric shock, injury, or death. In the manual on page 8 it shows included accessories are 4 leg holders. Are these the black plastic clips? Refer to the installation guide included with the leg holders for instructions on proper usage. ^Daphane
