We are not clear on your assertion that the LG Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Streaming Services, Model # BP175 does not have a "surround sound port" on the back. That HDMI port on the back transmits digital video and digital audio signals between devices. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV connected to a couple of Bluetooth devices - AirPods and a Bluetooth receiver. It was an easy setup and easy to change the sound output. I would assume that if the sound bar has Bluetooth that would work too.
