As you heard from LG, their "SmartTv" always defaults to LiveTV, even if you don't have cable. So enjoy that static blowing out your eardrums every time you turn the tv on. And I hope you don't like sports, because you won't find the ESPN app anywhere. If I wasn't out of my return period, this thing would be sitting in the open box section of your local best buy. So disappointed I bought this piece of junk.

Please try again later. The default input for the LG 50 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UN7300PUF is the Live TV input when you do have any external devices connected to the TV. When the TV is powered back on, it will display the last input used. If you did not use an external device before turning off the TV, it will show Live TV as it is the only connection available through coaxial. If you have a set-top box or other external device connected to the HDMI ports on the TV, it will display the last input used if you are watching programming from those devices before you turn it off...^IFV
