• The TV remote controls the on-off and volume. The Time Warner remote controls your channel selection. If you're using an HDMI cable from the digital box to the TV, make sure you're on the correct HDMI option.

• To do this you will have to find TWCs instructions for programming. Each cable company has a certain procedure to do this, and instructions are usually included when you receive the cable package. Calling TWC or stopping by a local branch would be the best way to obtain these instructions.

• You can do it by either calling TWC and they will walk you through the process. If you have a TWC online account you can sign in, go into manage and troubleshoot services, click the equipment tab, look on the bottom of the window and click remote control. It will give a hyperlink to show how to program your remote control.
