I read all the reviews 8 times before i bought tv like a mad man. Finally made choice to just go get tv and was not disappointed. I read tv had buzzing noise on startup, not true. I heard sound was tinny, i have full rich sound that i find i am turning down because it is too loud. Fast hook up, fast internet hookup although remote browser is not the best for serious browsing. I will get the smart remote next for that problem. Picture quality is best i have ever seen and believe me I looked at them all. The 4k uhd picture is top notch too, tv hooked up to comcast xfinity and netflix uhd for source. Tv came with an amazing amount of 4k content already preloaded for your enjoyment even if you have no 4k signal which i also appreciated. Really went for this tv because for $100 more I could get the 4k vs reg. Hd tv and man was the extra 100 worth it. So glad I have 4k already and am enjoying a bunch of content right now, not to imagine the possibilties in the near future.

The LG 55 inch is really perfect and comes in 4K for a great price. I purchased the HDMI 4K compatible cable to go along with this in order to make use of the resolution. The TV itself is easy to use and picture is perfect. I use it for my PS4 gaming and it looks and networks great with the wi-fi so far. No complaints yet the only thing that would make this better is free cable lol.

Best tv I've ever had. I've had an LG plasma 720p for 7 years and always thought that was a good tv. This one blows that one out of the water and I wish I bought two of them. I'm sure there are other great TVs out there but getting this LG 55 4K for 699$ was a steal

I was looking for a television that will give me sharp colors and images at a low cost. After reviewing online and talking to sales associates I went with LG bc they specialize in image and picture and the 4K HD picture is unreal. Great purchase

I was completely blown away with this TV. The sound and picture quality is excellent. I don't have a sound bar for it yet but I'm in no hurry to buy one because it sounds great as is. My wife & I really enjoy watching HD movies & television shows on this TV. No complaints, awesome product!

This is a great unit! The picture is amazing on 4k but it is also terrific coming from my regular cable feed. I'm really happy with my purchase. I even got my brother to buy one and he loves it as well.

After purchasing I did read the reviews and the reviews about the remote control were accurate in that you have to point it directly at the center of the TV in order for it to work. Other than that it is a good TV. I am not fond of the keyboard that you have to use in order to enter any passwords it is quite cumbersome. And the energy saving option makes it so you have to aim the remote directly at the screen in order to save any energy which takes away from your viewing experience. However all in all I am happy with the purchase of our LG TV

I have purchased high definition televisions before but this product excels my highest expectations in terms of quality, style and vision. Top of the line!

Not a big tv fan. Don't do much with it but Netflix and chill It looks great. It's worth the money I spend for it

The tv I purchased works as advertised, it's sharp and shows details that I didn't think you could see. It works exceptionally better while watching blue ray movies. Sadly, cable/sat tv co's don't broadcast in HD to get most out of watching shows. Still, awesome tv!!

Love my TV. Color is great! Easy to use. Looks great on the wall. Can't wait for 4K to be available.

If you are debating on going 4K or not, this set should settle the debate! Purchased this set after a 55 inch 1080p we bought for Black Friday quit. First let's look at 1080p content. Let's face it as awesome as 4K is there isn't much content for it right now so most of what you watch will be traditional HD. This set has great motion and rich colors. Web OS is the best smart tv interface I have seen yet. Very smooth and seemless. Onto the 4K. 4K is awesome. Colors are like you have never seen. The clarity is like you are watching out of a window. Compared to the higher end 4k's it is 90% of them. If your looking for the best top of the line then look elsehwhere. But understand your not paying top dollar for this set. It performs well beyond the price you pay. One thing, the HDMI ports are on the rear of the tv, not the sides. When I wall mounted it I had to use spacers to get my blue rigger hdmi to fit. If you wanted to get the tv snug to the wall a right angle adapter would be needed.

Let's be real, this is the lowest price you will find on an awesome brand, UHD 4K, large 55"-65" display, Smart TV. I purchased this TV under the impression it would be black on the edges (which it isn't it's silver like the higher end models), 5" thick (it's about 2" thick at most like the higher end models), and with low brightness high input lag/latency, with slow apps and faulty software/hardware (none of which were accurate.) No, it does not have the same quality as a TV in a seperate classe sold for twice the amount. However, this TV is nothing short of a technological masterpiece for the price. No, I don't believe Trumotion 120Hz is equivalent to a set just advertising 120Hz, do I care and can I tell? Absolutely not. It is definitely a true 60Hz TV if not more. On game mode Input lag is not a problem whatsoever and the picture still looks magnificent with a little settings tweaking. For truer black turn down brightness but leave the backlight all the way up, mine is on 27 out of 100 for brightness and it still looks great so perhaps those complaining about grey blacks need to tweak further and accept that it isn't a $2000 model. For gaming it is brilliant on fast paced FPS games I have no problem no scoping folks. I primarily use it as a secondary monitor, it is a tad latent as I'm displaying in 4k and I can almost notice it, but it's fine, better than I could have expected. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, I can't believe some of the negative reviews on here, it's UNREAL what you can get for the money. Speakers on it sound great and it has optical 96k fiber optic output on the back which I use and it works perfectly. I've had this TV for weeks now and love it. Still not over it, I couldn't be more satisfied. Don't listen to the hater reviews basically saying it's not a $4000 model, it isn't but in a way that's what makes it great. Best value, Great quality. All software works great with fast internet. Wifi gets best connection of all my devices. The pictures on this site don't accurately represent the product. Anti reflective layer works good too so you dont get reflections and stuff. Anyway.

I compared a number of 55 inch TVs and the price and features on this one are great at $699. I looked at TVs with bluetooth, more HDMI ports, more USB ports, but kept coming back to this model for the great price. I absolutely love it. My parents bought one too and love it as well. Picture quality is great. Sound is very good out of the box. I have a DVD player, a wii, a sound bar and an Apple TV hooked up to it. I handles everything superbly. The upscaling is a nice feature. It was easy to hook up the wifi and I love how it handles YouTube via my smart phone. My family watches tons of YouTube. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Pros: 1. Color contrast is nice. I have no complaint. 2. Reflection: TV screen works fine in my leaving room, even in the noon when the room is enough bright. 3. Picture is also nice in the dark room as well. 4. Really thin structure. 5. Fast to read my terabyte sized portable hard drive. 6. 1080p, 4k video looked really nice on the TV. 780p, 480p upscaling are okay, but not as good. 7. No problem running youtube, netflix and HD, 4k contents in those streaming sites. Cons: 1. Even though the out-of the box settings was enough to run netflix high resolution continue. But some of the sports videos did not run so smooth, there was lag/motion blur - which was mostly cleared after tweaking the settings. 2. Smart Features: Not good enough. There is a browser, but it does not support flash video. Also I have to enter the wifi password often, which is not easy with the stone-age remote. I would have to look for a better remote. My biggest complaint is - there are not enough apps, and you cannot download much. I needed watch-espn, but don't see any option to download it. And also, cannot watch the video in the browser either. 3. When I connect my laptop with TV to project the screen, there is a lag in the video streaming. So I cannot even run the sports in laptop and project it in TV.
