It'll freeze because its refresh rate is not fast enough. It is only 60Hz. The llisted 120HZ is not actual refresh rate its the LGs marketing of its True Motion 120. This was explained to me by the Magnolia Sales rep and I've experienced the lag in action on my TV too.

If already past that, I sincerely hope you purchased the protection plan. The costs to repair this tv can multiple rather quickly.
