• Under picture settings menu, I use expert 1 and 95% of your calibration is complete for a great picture. Use this website: http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uf6800/settings for further explanation of the picture settings.

• Ideally you will put your cable signal in either HDMI 2 or 3 - HDMI 1 is meant for a computer signal.

• Many thanks for the answer NYJC provided. I was very disappointed with the picture I was receiving and spent two days playing with the picture settings. I was ready to return this TV and then came across NYJC's reference to a website with recommended picture settings. This made a world of difference and I'm definitely keeping the TV.
