QuestionI am wondering if this tv has only centered picture or can it be viewed as well on the sides?? Also one member of the family has macular degeneration and the OLED options are limited on the market;Does LG make a slightly larger OLED tv?

- Answer I stood to the side of tv and could see it. Picture fills the whole screen. I don't know about larger size. If family member sits to side of tv it may work with her condition. Instead of in front since center vision is not good.

- Answer The feet that came with it broke & came off with a slight bump. I recommend wall mount .

QuestionI’m considering buying this Tv. Please can you tell me if you can pause the screen when watching a program then continue to watch.I read some reviews stating that it might cause damage to the tv screen. Thank you for your response. Julie

- Answer Do not worry about burn in. We pause it and it stops showing the picture after about a minute or so. It goes into a random firework type picture. I assume it prevents burn in.

QuestionIs the OLED 55C9AUA truly a 4K TV or does the "4K" only reference that the screen is capable of supporting a 4K picture, but the supporting hardware may not?

- Answer I didn't get that exact model. I got the LG OLED55A1PUA, but both are LG 55" OLED. No 4k TVs will show true 4k content from devices or content that don't provide it. Just like how a low resolution photograph isn't going to look great displayed on an 4k computer monitor. When I got my 4k OLED TV I replaced my old Roku with a Roku Ultra and upgraded my Netflix account to 4k Ultra HD in order to take better advantage of the TV. Not all content from Roku/Netflix etc. is in 4k but even HD content looks great, and the 4k content is unbelievable. Going from 1080p to 4k is almost as big of a difference as it was going from the old TVs to the first HD ones.

QuestionDoes this have the same things to fix screen burn in that the C1 has? Please list them.

- Answer The major difference is the C1 OLEDs have a 120Hz refresh rate compared to 60Hz for the A1, but I don't think that matters for burn in. The C1 is more for gamers that might need the high refresh rate. I have an A1 model and have no burn in problems, and I'm not aware of any "fix" that one has over the other.

- Answer Adding 4 inches to all tv exterior dimensions should get you in the ball part. The thickness is about 5 inches.

QuestionThe TV seems somewhat unstable mounted on a table with the supplied brackets. It sways if my cat rubs on it. How can I make it more secure, without having to do a wall mount (which I do not want to do)?

- Answer Ever heard of ‘museum putty’. You can get it at craft stores and it is a play dough like substance you pull apart and put a small blob under each foot. Provides excellent grip and can be removed with out harming the surface of table. Great TV, but still trying to get the lip sync working perfectly :)

QuestionWhy is the TV on Live TV when I turn it on? It makes that horrible "snow" sound and shows the "snow" picture until I turn something else on - the other LG I bought does not do this. Hopefully it is a setting I can change.

QuestionWhy isn’t this oled 120hz. It’s only 60hz. And it’s a newer model. The CX is the best oled so far. Even the C9 is better than this one. Surprised LG didn’t match up to at least 2019s oled.

QuestionSet up my TV. I mute when I turn my Devon av (eARC ). The mute icon doe not extinguish, it jumps that than going out. This just started. Originally the mute icon would disappear. I don't know if I did something in the menu since setting it up.

- Answer Organic Light-Emitting Diode. OLED TVS are the best you can get. I have two LG OLED 55" sets and there is no comparison to QLED or LED. And now the prices have come down to where more people can afford them. Still not cheap, but worth it if you can afford it.
